Last night and today my mom was in town for an autism conference, so last night she, Jody, and I went out to Olive Garden to celebrate my birthday (which is the 8th). Well, let's start with the good stuff...I decided to add secondary education to my French major, so I'll be certified to teach pre-k-12th grade when I graduate. I'm really excited about it. I don't know if I want to teach as a career, but it'd be good to do when my kids are young so I can spend more time with them. Fall Break was a lot of fun. I went to a movie with my brother Friday night. Saturday I went to lunch with my mom then out to see Kelsey. Work went extremely well Friday, Monday, and Tuesday. In case you don't know, I am a therapist for an autistic child. He's eight years old, and he has a comparatively high-functioning form of autism. He can speak, read, write, do math, etc. He has trouble with speach though, and often he has to be prompted to talk. His social skills are also extremely lacking. Most of the time, he's a great kid.
